Monday night me and Anna had a shopping jaunt in ER and she found me some fabulous mascara. It lengthens and curls and now I have really cute long, curly, and waterproof eyelashes.

Must Run To Store

JQ's It's In His Kiss hits stores today and I forgot so now I have to make a special trip to get it because there is NO way I can wait for this one.

Fair Food

I saved my pennies so I could gorge on fair refreshments which included: A fresh squeezed lemonade, a beef gyro, a couple sniched sections of Becky's funnel cake, cheese curds, bottled water, a caramel apple with peanuts, and three beers from the beer garden.

I've also got a couple extra miles to jog all week to work it off, but it was so worth it to watch everyone's eyes bulge when they heard what, how, and when I ate what.

Aye, Potatoes!

Ah. Spud Fest. That time of year for fair food, fireworks, friends, and all things Potato.

I, of course, had a blast. Becky came down and we met up with Anna and Tiffy and took the town by storm. LOL. Or at least me and Becky had a blast while waiting for Anna and Tiff, including a turn at the Water War booth where I kept shooting the water balloons into the ditch behind my intended target.

We also did the fireworks in our prime viewing spot in the back of Anna's Truck. The Show was fabulous. Well, it was great enjoyment and has to rate as a Fab show because Linton didn't put fireworks into their budget this year (that is so stupid and unpatriotic (and communist! lol.)) So the fourth is going to be a homemade deal.

We also ran it to a ton of people and migrated to McPete's for some more fun and drinks. The guys were in full form. They were running at the LCD speed tracker trying to be picked up on it. Ricky was the fastest at 16mph and poor Nippy kept running and it wouldn't pick up.

The night ended early because Becky had to work the next morning or something, but the party continued.

Derek

Well. He has officially made the rounds. I've had this weird lump on my left middle finger for almost a week now and couldn't figure out what it was. Today it dawned on me. I have a blood blister. I remember shutting my hand in the door last week, but this thing showed up sometime Monday. I also have two new bruises on my left knee and a mysterious cut on my left forearm. Derek is out to get me now.

Toshia, come back home and claim your boy toy. He's driving me nuts! LOL.

This Radio Thing

Today I put in an e-request during the "Lunch with the Legends" segment on K102 today and it got played! I requested Crystal Gayle's Half the Way, and after he played it, the DJ said thanks Lisa for the suggestion, and for all those that are cubicle bound, you can still request on line, blah, blah, blah. But I was smiling because I got my song played on the radio.

MMMmmm Wednesday

Wednesdays are "Treat Days" at work, when somebody in the office brings a snack to share. Today, I had a fresh, warm bagel (or begal if you pronounce it like I do) from Brugers Bagels and it was nummy.

When To Conveniently Loose A Letter

Today the office received a letter from an admirer of an actress in one of our DVD's. Apparently, he thinks she is "one fine woman" and wanted to ask "ya'll" how he could get in contact with her to express his admiration. It was all quite funny. Absolutely worth a giggle or two.

Lazy, Crazy, Hazy. . .

I spent this weekend in an all out Gilmore Girls fest. Seasons 2 & 3 finally showed up at the library, so I hung out most of the weekend in front of my comp giving my CD drive a work out. So, if anybody wants to get me a slamming Christmas present, this is absolutely a viable option.

Rhinestone Cowboy

Friday Night I went out with Anna, Tiffy, and Chandi to the Buffalo Rodeo and had an absolute blast. It was the girls' first rodeo, so we had fun watching the events and performers. I had an abfab rainbow snowcone, which only could have been better with alcohol added to it. I do regret skipping on the cheese curds, but that just means I have to get them next weekend at Spud fest.

The Rodeo Dance band was The Law. They were pretty darn good, even if I was unfamiliar with them. They sang a lot of fun older country and performed one of their own songs at the end of each set. They also had a female voice, Carmen I think her name was, who joined in on songs. She had one ass-kicker attitude and did Gretchen's songs proud.

Now if only we had gotten Tiffy up on the mechanical bull. . .

The Morning After

What is it about having to get up in the morning that you notice ALL of your minor aches and pains? For instance, I woke up with a slight headache, prolly from smacking my head on the side of the fridge last night, achy calves from playing Frisbee I'm sure, and Sunday's sunburned shoulders still stinging slightly.

The party was wonderful though. We should really get together and do that more often guys, but let's split the bill a little. LOL. I'm sure if I would have planned better, it wouldn't have been so hectic.

So now, after sitting in traffic forever this morning because some jackass rolled his car and people gawked and cops stopped traffic, I'm finally at work and looking forward to my leftovers for lunch.

Surprise Party On, Party People

Everything is a go for Tosh's Surprise Party. Even though the party really isn't a surprise because Tosh knows about it (or else she wouldn't go), we do have some surprise guests coming. Besides, it was a surprise until I told her about it. LOL.

Anyhow, work is starting to drag on since I've been thinking about that gianormous list of things I need to accomplish before 7, so I'm going to take my lunch a bit early I think.

Give Up.

I'm going to give up. Shauna is in New York for a meeting with the MusicCalc designer people, and so I'm slowly working away on my various projects at this end. But everything just has to annoy the crap out of me. Like the Fox site not being up today. Or, Patrick not showing up for work today, so I have to burn CDRs, but I don't know how far he got or how his 'system' works and the damn boy isn't home to answer his phone. Hopefully he'll be here tomorrow so we don't get too far behind on burning.

Good news! Party tonight, it's almost lunch, and I've almost got an entire box of that new age-y stuff loaded onto the Apple.
