Tonight's Keith Urban concert at Roberts Stadium has been canceled and rescheduled for Feb. 1 because the country music superstar has a 'vocal fold hemorrhage,' according to his doctors.

"Keith basically has a bruise of his right vocal fold (or chord)," said Urban's otolaryngologist, Stephen Mitchell. "I've prescribed voice rest, which means no talking and no singing. We'll re-evaluate him early next week and at that point we'll make a determination as to how much longer we need to rest him or whether we can start to bring him back. I have no doubt that he'll return back to full singing mode again. That is not in question."

"I feel fine," said Urban. "That is what is so frustrating about this situation. My apologies to all of our fans who have tickets, but I guarantee that we'll rock with you in February."

Evansville was the final stop on this leg of Urban's "Alive in '05" tour; he is scheduled to leave for Europe next week, with the first concert scheduled for Wednesday in West Midlands, England.
