Work On a Tuesday. Shame on Me.

Will You Be My Lorelai Gilmore?

While she is in the midst of planning Lane's (Keiko Agena) baby shower, Rory (Alexis Bledel) gets a long-awaited call from The New York Times offering her an informational interview. Lorelai (Lauren Graham) takes over the shower-planning duties, and finds herself brokering peace between Lane and Mrs. Kim (Emily Kuroda) over how Lane plans to raise her twins.

Logan (Matt Czuchry) finally admits his business disaster to Rory, who offers him her full support, but when Logan announces that he is flying to Las Vegas to blow off steam with his old college pals Colin and Finn, Rory is disappointed and worried. When Luke (Scott Patterson) discovers that Liz (Kathleen Wilhoite) and T.J. (Michael DeLuise) are trying to sell his boat, he decides to make some changes in his life and take April (Vanessa Marano) on a long boat trip over the summer.

Finally, Lane is put on bed-rest and must be wheeled through Stars Hollow in her bed to attend the shower at Miss Patty's (Liz Torres).

Melissa McCarthy and Sean Gunn also star. David Paymer directed the episode written by Gayle Abrams & Gina Fattore.

Excuses, Excuses

I haven't blogged in forever. It's not because life's been boring, or I don't know what to say, simply because I'm so gall darn busy and just too tired to put my thoughts down through my fingers.

But today, I'm bucking the system. I miss all the time I spend catching up with everyone via the Internet. And not just through blogging and commenting, but also through e-mail, and boards, and newsgroups, and the like. I haven't even really telephoned anyone lately. Unless I'm in a moving vehicle. Or having a conversation with someone else at a store (sorry bout that Mel). Or at work, where I'm not supposed to be on the phone.

This week I've got mondo grading to do, a unit to plan, and a gigantic test to study for, a workshop, work, and book club. The only thing that makes it bearable is the fact that this week ends with Spring Break. I'm tentatively heading out to Nodak Tues-Thurs or Sun-Wed. I haven't fully figured it out yet. Hopefully I can get a handle on stuff so I'm not so freaking crazy. And No, damn it, student teaching is NOT a viable excuse!

Someone Must Have Been a Postal Worker in Another Life

Astronaut in 'love kidnap plot'

This is just insane! I can't believe this woman wore a diaper across country to pepper spray some woman who may (or may not) have had with some other person. It's an astronaut (spoken in my Barry voice) LUVVVVVVV-triangle.

Crazy.

Gilmore Dish

The demise of Christopher's marriage to Lor is near and I can't wait! That makes me sound so mean spirited, but hey, these are fictional TV characters so that downs the meanness points. Right?

I'd Rather Be in Philadelphia

In the hospital waiting room, Lorelai (Lauren Graham), Rory (Alexis Bledel), and Emily (Kelly Bishop) anxiously await word on Richard's (Edward Herrmann) condition. When Logan (Matt Czuchry) hears what is happening, he borrows a helicopter to be by Rory's side, but Lorelai is unable to reach Christopher (David Sutcliffe), who is still angry over their fight the night before.

Upset by Emily's attempt to remain calm by dealing with her social calendar, Lorelai is relieved when Luke (Scott Patterson) shows up unannounced and volunteers to run errands for Emily. Christopher finally arrives to be with Lorelai, but the scene at the hospital is more than he can take.

Lee Shallat Chemel directed the epis Titlode written by Rebecca Rand Kirshner.

Wickedly Awesome Interview With Adam Beach

Adam has starred in such movies as Smoke Signals, Windtalkers, and most recently Flags of Our Fathers. He is also a native actor and just landed a regular gig on SVU which I'm very excited about. Plus, I had my picture taken with his picture while I was in San Antonio.
