To Whom It May Concern
Noticing Sookie's (Melissa McCarthy) recent odd behavior, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) forces Jackson (Jackson Douglas) to tell her the reason.
Luke (Scott Patterson) and Anna (Sherilyn Fenn) attend a hearing to decide their custody battle over April (Vanessa Marano).
With help from Paris (Liza Weil), Rory (Alexis Bledel) finally makes amends with Lucy (Krysten Ritter), who tells her that she and Marty (Wayne Wilcox) have broken up. While attending Richard's (Edward Herrmann) economics class at Yale, Rory witnesses a frightening scene.
Finally, Christopher (David Sutcliffe) finds the letter Lorelai wrote for Luke's character reference and confronts Lorelai about whether he was her second choice.
Jamie Babbit directed the episode written by David Babcock.
I know a good time when I see one / And when I'm in the mood I can even be one / I can lead the parade or I can stop it / Sometimes I dance in the boat just to rock it

GG Scoop
I snatched this from my Yahoo Group who I'm sure snatched it from TV Guide so by now it's really just some plagiarism...
How much clout does Lauren Graham have over at Gilmore Girls these days? You'll find out in the opening minutes of tomorrow night's episode, when the Emmy-shunned actress receives a perk that has long eluded her: a producing credit.
Warner Bros. and the CW declined comment, but one of my deeply imbedded Stars Hollow moles confirms that Graham will be listed as a producer beginning with Tuesday's episode. My spy says the promotion was most likely a precursor to formal contract-extension talks with Graham. (Her deal with the show ends this season.) "It's a step in the right direction," says my source.
In an interview last June, Graham made no secret of her desire to see her Gilmore role expand. "I would like to be a producer on the show, but that's not anything [Warner Bros.] is gonna let me do," she said at the time. "I think, at this point, any request [might lead to a] 'Well, if you want something then we want an eighth season' kind of thing."
In that same Q&A, Graham also said she'd "never" do the show without TV daughter Alexis Bledel by her side. But what if Bledel were to drop in during, oh, say, November, February and May? As I reported in Ask Ausiello last week, that's one of several life-sustaining Gilmore scenarios the network and studio are said to be throwing around should Bledel nix a full-time commitment.
The wild card in all this? Scott Paterson, whose deal also expires in May and is rumored to be angling for a hefty raise. Suddenly, last year's ill-fated Team Palladino negotiations are looking like a walk in the park with Paul Anka.

Dierks Bently shaves his lovely curly locks in his new video for "Long Trip Alone" and I totally dig the new short shaved head. Very sexy.

How the heck am I supposed to get up at 6am-ish for school when I can't even get up before 10 on break? I've GOT to hurry up and break this habit. I tell ya. Give in to it once and you are SCREWED!

RE: Extreme Sledding
Not only do I ache all over, but I recently found a gigantic (think circumfrence of an orange) beauty mark the color of rotten eggplant in a place that normally only models and plunging necklines normally expose.

Solemnity
This morning I woke up to watch Gerald Ford's funeral, and surprisingly enough cried during it. I wanted to smack all the camera crews who kept panning Poor Betty Ford who had to suck it up and present a facade to the world because she's a First Lady and a role model and This was the Public's funeral. And man, once Bill Clinton started crying my waterworks started.
I also wondered what all of the other Presidents were thinking when the Eulogists praised President Ford for his honesty, integrity, mercy, and lack of agenda and revenge. It seemed like good ole newscaster Tom was getting in a couple of digs, or at least that's how I saw it. Naughty me.

A Very Piratey Christmas
Merry Christmas to all of my Piratey friends. I got much booty things year and while not shiny, will convince a lot of people that instead of pining over Keith Urban, I'm obsessed with one Captian Jack Sparrow.
Not only did I get Pirates 2, but pirate buttons, pirate lip balm, Jack pillow cases, pirate socks, and one very giant Jack blanket. Trust me, I can sail the seven seas in my sleep in style! I however, did not get the piratey music. *Tear* I suppose there's always my birthday.
(Oh, and for those of you who have heard my tire tale, I also got a portable battery booster/air compressor!)

Crazy Snowboard Metal Head
In the name of cultural exchange (snort) and friendship, Erin went to see Dierks Bentley with me. This weekend I returned the favor and saw Otep. After a fun, exhilarating, and slightly tragic scenic route to the venue, me and Erin made it to Minneapolis in time to catch part of the Holidazzle parade and the opening acts.
The show was fun and intense. And even though I looked like a snowboarder in my barbie t-shirt I was still totally cool. Or at least cooler than the Dad behind us who accompanied his fourteen year old and was probably an Eric Clapton fan. Plus another guy was wearing an orange shirt.
I even got to make history for Nick since I was the first girl whose number he'd ever gotten before he knew her name. But he was nice and talked about his mom. And I didn't have to knock Erin into him either for an introduction. (But damn it. It would have worked!)
Otep was awesome and intense and a lot more than I really bargained for. I had a great night and I love Erin's parents who do things like cook me soup and argue football with me. I am so blessed in my friends.

Lisa's Editing and Proofreading Service
This morning I proofed my sister's John Donne paper (These emotions can eat at someone’s heart. I LOVE that line!) and I promised Amanda that I would edit her family structure paper this afternoon before I go to work. In the past couple of weeks I've written three papers of my own, read Anna's position paper, checked over her resume and Toshia's powerpoint, and proofed Becky's history paper.
Don't get me wrong girls, I love reading your work. I really don't mind doing it and I enjoy it, but I could totally open up shop and make some gas money doing this. However, if I do hang my shingle, I promise I'll offer a generous discount to my editing fan club.

There's a GG Smackdown Coming On!
Tonight's Episode: Merry Fisticuffs
Luke (Scott Patterson) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) share a sweet moment when Luke introduces her to Liz's new baby. Christopher (David Sutcliffe) witnesses the scene and it adds to his concern that Lorelai isn't fully committed to their marriage. The next day, Lorelai and Christopher get into a fight over whether they should exchange vows at the elaborate wedding party Emily (Kelly Bishop) is throwing for them.
Luke contacts a lawyer over his custody troubles with Ana, then runs into Christopher and the two have an ugly confrontation in the streets of Stars Hollow.
Meanwhile, when Logan (Matt Czuchry) discovers that Rory and Marty (Wayne Wilcox) have been pretending that they just met, rather than admitting their previous friendship to Lucy (Krysten Ritter), he reveals the truth to Lucy.
Finally, Emily gives Lorelai a warning about her marriage.
Sean Gunn also stars. Jackson Douglas directed the episode written by David Rosenthal.
